About the art
What is Jeet Kune Do?
Jeet Kune Do, 'the way of the intercepting fist', is the art Bruce Lee developed in the late 1960s. Built on his Wing Chun training, western boxing and fencing, it leads with the strong side, moves with fast, economical footwork and aims to hit the opponent as their attack begins.
Lee rejected fixed forms in favour of training against a live partner. Students learn the straight lead, the stop kick, the trapping hands and the five ways of attack, from the simple direct attack to attack by drawing. Schools grade in levels rather than belts.

Jeet Kune Do schools often ask
We teach JKD concepts alongside Kali and Silat. Does it fit?
Yes. The library is the core most schools share. Add Pencak Silat as a second style, and your Kali and other material as custom techniques.
Can we use our own levels?
Yes. Rename the levels, add more, or set the time each one needs.
Can we use our own syllabus and grades?
Yes. The starter ladder is only a starting point. Rename grades, change colours, add your own requirements and set the lessons and time each grade needs.
Can one club teach more than one martial art?
Yes. Choose a main martial art when you create your club and add others in the club settings. Each keeps its own technique library.
Can you move our students across from our current system?
Yes. Import students from a spreadsheet and check every row before it is saved, or send us your records and we will move them across for you free of charge.
How much does it cost?
Small clubs can use the Free plan with no card required. Paid plans add capacity and features as your club grows.
