About the art
What is Eskrima (Arnis/Kali)?
Eskrima, Arnis and Kali are names for the Filipino martial arts. Unusually, training starts with weapons - the single stick, double sticks and knife - and the same movements then carry over to empty hands. Arnis is the national martial art and sport of the Philippines.
Classes build on numbered angles of attack, flow drills such as sinawali, and disarms, locks and takedowns. Every system has its own ranks, and many clubs use a simple set of levels towards black belt.

How we work with Eskrima (Arnis/Kali)
Built for the way Eskrima (Arnis/Kali) is taught
The Eskrima (Arnis/Kali) technique library and a starter grading ladder are ready when you create your club, and you can change any of it to match your syllabus.
Stick, knife and empty hand
The library covers the angles of attack, strikes such as Abaniko and Redonda, double stick work, disarms and knife defences, along with empty-hand techniques.
Anyo and levels
The Anyo forms are ready to link to grades, and the starter levels follow the likas, likha and lakan ranks of Modern Arnis.
Weapon-aware combinations
The Combo Builder keeps stick, knife and empty-hand techniques apart unless they belong together, so combinations stay realistic.

Questions
Eskrima (Arnis/Kali) clubs often ask
Our system numbers the angles differently. Is that a problem?
No. Add your own angles and techniques as club techniques and build your syllabus around them.
Can we run weapons and empty-hand classes separately?
Yes. Set up each class on the timetable with its own register, and plan each one from the same library.
Can we use our own syllabus and grades?
Yes. The starter ladder is only a starting point. Rename grades, change colours, add your own requirements and set the lessons and time each grade needs.
Can one club teach more than one martial art?
Yes. Choose a main martial art when you create your club and add others in the club settings. Each keeps its own technique library.
Can you move our students across from our current system?
Yes. Import students from a spreadsheet and check every row before it is saved, or send us your records and we will move them across for you free of charge.
How much does it cost?
Small clubs can use the Free plan with no card required. Paid plans add capacity and features as your club grows.
