About the art
What is Kung Fu?
Kung Fu is the everyday name for the martial arts of China, which include hundreds of styles. Northern styles such as Long Fist favour long, extended techniques and kicks, while southern styles work closer in from strong, low stances. Internal styles such as Tai Chi emphasise relaxation and whole-body movement.
Most schools teach forms (taolu), empty-handed and with weapons such as the staff, broadsword and spear, alongside applications and sparring. Many use coloured sashes to mark each student's level.

Kung Fu schools often ask
Our style is not listed by name. Will it work?
Yes. The library covers techniques shared across many styles, and you can add your own forms and techniques as club techniques and build your syllabus around them.
Can we show Chinese names?
Yes. Choose Chinese and English, English only or Chinese only for the whole school.
Can we use our own syllabus and grades?
Yes. The starter ladder is only a starting point. Rename grades, change colours, add your own requirements and set the lessons and time each grade needs.
Can one club teach more than one martial art?
Yes. Choose a main martial art when you create your club and add others in the club settings. Each keeps its own technique library.
Can you move our students across from our current system?
Yes. Import students from a spreadsheet and check every row before it is saved, or send us your records and we will move them across for you free of charge.
How much does it cost?
Small clubs can use the Free plan with no card required. Paid plans add capacity and features as your club grows.
