Backfist Strike

Snapping backfist strike using the back knuckles
Key steps
- Raise the striking arm into position with the elbow bent and pointing along the intended line of the strike.
- Whip the backfist out by springing from the elbow rather than swinging from the shoulder.
- Keep the fist tight, the forearm short, and the motion crisp so the strike snaps out and back quickly.
- Return the hand to guard immediately and keep your posture tall so the next action can start cleanly.

- Let the hips and stance support the strike.
