Reverse crescent kick circling back across the line

Key steps

  1. Chamber the leg for a crescent action with the hips loose enough to let the foot reverse back across the line.
  2. Circle the foot in the reverse crescent path with the leg extending enough to keep the arc clear and clean.
  3. Maintain control through the supporting leg and core so the motion stays crisp instead of wild.
  4. Recover the leg smoothly and place it down into stance with balance restored.

Coaching points

  • Keep the supporting leg strong and stable.
  • Chamber and re-chamber the kicking leg cleanly.
  • Do not sacrifice posture just to reach higher.
