Rear-hand straight middle-level punch to the body line.
Key steps
- Settle into stance with the rear hand chambered.
- Drive the rear fist straight to stomach height.
- Rotate the hips into the target and keep the elbow close.
- Retract the lead hand sharply and recover the punch cleanly.
Coaching points
- Let the rear hip rotation power the punch.
- Keep the elbow close so the line stays tight.
- Pull the lead hand back sharply to finish the action cleanly.
