Key steps
- Bend the wrist back into the correct shape and keep the hand supported so the striking surface is clear.
- Deliver the strike from close range using a compact forward action from the body and hips.
- Keep the forearm aligned behind the wrist and avoid collapsing the hand, because this technique depends on precise structure.
- Return the hand to a neutral guard immediately after contact so the wrist is not left exposed.
