Defensive side-on stance with most weight on the rear leg.
Key steps
- Step back and turn side-on.
- Keep the back leg well bent and the front leg extended but not locked.
- Point the front toes forward and set the rear foot near a right angle.
- Hold most of the weight on the back leg so the front side can defend or counter.
